WhatsApp has updated it's messaging app on iOS with the ability to send and receive GIFs, but that's not all.
In addition to sending and receiving GIFs, you can also search Giphy’s massive library or Tenor’s in some countries to find the perfect animations to spice up your conversation.
There's even more to it, Yea! the Oliver twist way. A rich featured GIF editor has been incorporated to lets you add captions, stickers and even drawings to your chosen animation. Also, You can trim clips to the desired time length.
Last but not the least, you can send Live Photos as GIFs. Tap Attach, Photo/Video Library, click a Live Photo and then tap ‘Select as GIF’ to send it.
These features are only available on the iOS platform. Android users can only send and receive GIFs but cannot tweak it to their taste. It's only a matter of time before Android users join the party.
